Btw people forget that the teams sporting the Mercedes engines (i.e, McLaren, Williams, and Mercedes obvs) took new ones into the Miami gp given they've been used for 5 races so far (+ sprint). Max lost a lot of time in the final sector because of it in qualifying and race pace in the 3 main straights, but that slight downforce floor package (one of the many changes for Imola brought forward, likely for assessment) really edged them overall in S1 (qualifying), despite both McLarens' fuckups.
Ferrari bros shouldn't be too disappointed because of this given the pace of the Williams, neither should Red Bull who will take the new upgrades parts on-top of a new engine.
Add in further addition, Imola is a difficult track to overtake as Max has mentioned before, so qualifying is of utmost importance there and given the approved Rules of Engagement by the stewards, Imola should be an easy checkout for Max when all is put together. Hopefully the same for Monaco.
