The closest thing I have to a ritual is doing 20 laps around my house diary. I usually take that moment to think about stuff or just take my mind off things.

A long time ago I had a homework assignment from school, we were supposed to do some activities that people in the ancient world might have done, one of these was to maintain a shrine to the household gods. I found that to be kind of fun so for quite a few years I'd leave nonperishable food offerings in a little cupboard whenever in need of luck. It was just a bit of silliness though.

It's funny, there are many cultures that do similar things. I'm usually a very skeptical guy, but who knows? Maybe there's something real behind those ancient traditions.

As a skeptical guy myself, I however respect these practices.
I even sometimes do magic things even if I deeply know it'skind of larping but I enjoy doing it for the sole purpose of beauty.
