The series is known for it's distinct soundtrack, full of a variety of genres reflective of the diverse Japanese popular music that later came to be known as "city pop", though not all of the tracks necessarily belong to that. Many of the most recognizable tracks from early in the series can be attributed to Shinsuke Kazato and Fumitaka Anzai. There is also heavy Latin influence in some of the show's most famous themes, like Lum's Love Song and Love Mobius. Later in the series, artists like Steffanie and Cindy brought new influences into the series, such as hard rock.
