Since I redesigned the homepage, I had the idea of incorporating the sidebar into the main thread design, and updating the threads themselves to be somewhat closer to a forum. I am still testing things out but I wonder if people would be alright with this.

I am still testing things out but I wonder if people would be alright with this. It's a break from the traditional imageboard look but I think it'll be more distinctive.

The sidebar is cool but I think you should try to preserve the Futaba layout for the threads as much as possible. It's what Kissu does.

Also a way to toggle what boards and posts from boards you see on the front page would be nice. Like, for example, hiding posts from the sports board.

I also think the separation between the attachment and comment doesn't really work. It makes it look like an avatar on a traditional forum.

Alright, for now I'll move it back to a more futaba style layout with the sidebar. I'll send a screenshot of that when it's closer to being ready.
