Hey so I was the one who made the post and a few replies to people trying to explain and should probably explain I deleted the posts myself. I was extremely tired and not really thinking properly at the time and didn't meant to cause such a massive problem with the whole site, so I apologize. I figured I'd explain I did it myself so people wouldn't think an admin deleted it and people wouldn't argue any further about a pretty idiotic post. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I think I'm gonna restructure the boards again (probably not in a major way). It's clear this site could benefit a lot from a general board to organize events instead of spreading them across the relevant boards, especially when it's just me organizing events right now, and /kind/ is always going to be somewhat it's own thing.
I'm not sure quite what the solution is - just make a new board and move all the events there, potentially merge /co/ with /media/? Getting more people to help with the site is another solution but I'm not sure anyone's willing to volunteer. Let me know if you've got ideas on how to get this place to be a bit more sensible.

 

Can we have only one anime board please? Separate /digi/ and /cel/ is nice but it spreads activity across two boards on a low traffic site. If you want to split them again in the future, thats fine. I know it is annoying that so many imageboards have the same cookie cutter board load out, but maybe not having a single clear /a/ is a reason that activity is lower here.

Hi, I do have a lot of respect for those who actually write their own board engines (maybe one day I'll write one for wapchan but making a powerful imageboard with decent moderation tools one is a ton of work). Other board is far too unhinged for my taste (are there any rules?) but I'll link the programming board for now, as it seems to be a lot more civil. I hope we can be good friend sites.

Seems like the thread link to these are dead, it’s no wonder because I always assumed these were sketchy as hell, wonder if they were the ones that gave some of this sites prior problems. Not that it matters because it doesn’t exist anymore
