HUOUH?!?! What in the world?! A variation on the missionary position… The Lifted Hips! I can't believe the guy we brought in for such an important job is harboring this level of sexual deviancy… How old can this girl be?! Give me a full-chested woman any day! Someone like that foreign actress Isabelle Adjani. But no, no, there's nobody else we could get to take on such a difficult assignment. There's nothing for it — I have to put aside common decency and pretend I didnt see anything at all.

I found this obscure manga yesterday called Golondrina and binged all of the translated chapters. I love finding these unknown manga but it also sucks because they're usually not fully translated. I'll learn japanese eventually but that takes time
Do you guys have any of them that you want finished?.

Yougen no Chi has 3 chapters left for Volume 4 before the series went on hiatus as far as I'm aware, but I couldn't find raws and the TL group seemed to have dropped this. A shame because I really enjoyed this.

I hope Sukeban Deka is fully translated one day, I prefer it over live action which is mostly it's own thing but I think is all translated.

I love art

Since you're all here it seems like it's a good time to ask, which is your favorite?
>Hidamari
>Geijutsuka
>Sketchbook

Or, since Hidamari is the most popular by far, let's give some love to the other two. Sketchbook's adaptation is the most relaxing of the bunch IMO, especially this time of year.

It's nice to have a situation where the most popular one is the best as well.
For Sketchbook I recall it being decent but all the cat parts being shit. For GA for reasons I can't recall it's one of my least favourite Kirara anime. I really don't know what it did wrong to make me consider it Aldnoah tier but aside from remembering a surrealist episode being decent I don't remember anything else so have to defer to a list I made 6 years ago.

For extra art girl anime if I count New Game and Stella no Mahou they'd only be behind Hidamari. If I include mangaka and potters a few extra series would join them.

I found volume 2 in a secondhand shop the other day. It's a little bit disappointing they didn't have the 1st as well, but it was still a good find.
I'm taking this as my sign to start reading it finally. I'll report back later.

I'm sure you've all heard the news - Osaka (Ayumu Kasuga) is going to be in the next Yotsuba&! chapter after an over two decade absence. Since Kiyohiko Azuma's works are so fundamental to western imageboard culture, I proclaim this "Osaka Week"!
Users are encouraged to post Osaka anywhere and everywhere!
Also, I'll be running a Azumanga Daioh marathon this Saturday starting at 12PM EST, including a bunch of (sfw) doujin Azumanga games!

Nice! I was just thinking I need to watch Azumanga again.
What would she think of all this publicity?

I can't find her.

Here you go.

I thought it was awful coincidental that the most relevant character to the Western fandom (particularly those who frequent anime centric websites) would be the one who had the cameo. I would have expected Sakaki or Chiyo, since they were the most prominent characters in the actual series. (They may have already had cameos; I've never read Yotsuba&!) I wonder if the Japanese see Osaka the way many of us see her and that inspired the decision. Or maybe the mangaka sees her as we do! It's all speculation.

Thank you for the Osaka week, Figamin.

Post rec charts.

I'm not sure why people stopped making these, I liked them. This one kinda sucks in retrospect (whoever originally made this sure doesn't seem to like moe) but it was useful for me when I was first starting out.

Something for the mecha fans.

I've got a few more, but I don't want to spam too much.

Posting quality stuff is not spamming, anon.
Many of these charts where made on 4/a/, which barely procuces OC these days, there is also a culture of not spoonfeeding newfriends and you're expected to have watched all worthwhile post 2010 anime already.

i heard about this guy, i wanna watch his videos

For the longest time I've been wanting to make a thread for Bee Train anime, so I've decided to finally get around to it. Kouchi Mashimo's "hospital for animators" is probably most well known for their "Girls With Guns" trilogy: Noir, Madlax, and El Cazador de la Bruja, but have several other lesser known series like Avenger, Tsubasa Chronicle, and the .hack series.

Have you anons been watching any Bee Train anime lately? Do you have a favorite?

Hey anon. No hope you're still around, but how do you feel about Cal? Why did Reiji rush things so much? Really what stopped him from at least checking in once? The Cal was just waiting there while he fled without looking back. Maybe because of Elen? Still that part felt so wrong. And the way Cal appears later tore my heart, it was so sad.

>>514
I'm still here. And I agree, Cal deserved better.
He should have made more of an effort to search for her after the apartment bombing, rather than assuming that she was dead. Perhaps Elen had his focus and the trauma of being reunited with someone he thought was dead while at the same time losing someone else was overwhelming?

It reminds me a little bit of the relationship between Mireille/Kirika/Chloe in Noir. What happened to Chloe in the end was sad, I remember being heartbroken when I first saw it. But one of the key differences being the Noir trio were fulfilling the centuries-old prophecy of a secret society.
And the Phantom of Inferno visual novel came out a year before Noir, so I'm sure that influenced it heavily.

>I'm still here.
That's so nice anon, really didn't hope to get in thouch with somebody watching the same things I do.
>spoiler
Perhaps? I don't clearly remember that part. He assumed Cal was dead, but was it after or before Elen? He knew Elen was alive after the sniping, but I don't remember when exactly he went after her. If it was before bombing, well then perhaps he really just got overwhelmed.
>What happened to Chloe in the end was sad
I wish I could feel truly saddened, but I think Chloe lacked attention. Hes character and motivations were left relatively underdeveloped and were introduced too late in the story, so I didn't really have enough time to get upset. Especially in the end, Chloe lacked a bit of genuineness, she was depicted in a way that interfered with compassion. I do not know why they did it. It shouldn't have been so blatant. Her main emotion shouldn't have been raw envy, there should have been something more to it, like remorse maybe? Some genuine sadness that she couldn't be with Kirika peacefully or at all?
>And the Phantom of Inferno visual novel came out a year before Noir, so I'm sure that influenced it heavily.
That's possible especially since IIRC the VN Phantom endings were not all like in the anime. Still I think the anime ending is the most appropriate one even if it made me genuinely hysterical. I expected something similar from Noir and got burned by this expectation. Well Noir is still great regardless.

I've finished Noir recently and I'm currently watching Madlax. I was planning to pick up the phantom of inferno vn but the format is a little too time consuming for me considering it's more of a audiobook. I couldn't pass on making a couple of stitches for the backgrounds in Noir, they are quite stunning.
